AJUDICATOR SHOUT OUT AWARDS: Danceworks/CADF Shout Awards are announced at every award session. This award is selected by the judge based on the entries that made an impact on them and awarded at each session before the adjudicated awards. Not based on Scores.

CHOREOGRAPHY AWARDS: Danceworks/CADF Choreography awards are announced at every awards session. The award is selected by the Judge per award session based on the performance from the session.

PLACEMENTS AWARDS: 1st Place awarded in age groupings with 3 or more entries, 2nd place awarded with 5 or more entries and 3rd Place with 7 or more entries in Solo, Duo/Trio, Groups & Lines.

TOP FIVE & TOP TEN AWARDS: Top Five & Top Ten Awards will be awarded for Solos, Duos/Trios, Groups/Lines/Large Lines on stage throughout the competition at the end of adjudication sessions as results become available in all age, Divisions/Levels. Top 5 awarded with 10 or more entries & Top Ten awarded with 20 or more entries. (Plaques)

STUDIO STAND OUT AWARDS: All Studio Standout Award recipients will re-compete for additional AWARDS & CASH Prizes. Our judges will pick their favorite performance (s) from the 12 years & Under and also the 13 years & Over categories. The judge’s selections are based purely on the performance in the SHOWDOWN GROUP CHALLENGE.

STUDIO STAND OUT AWARDS: Each Studio will be awarded the Studio Stand Out Awards. One for the highest Scoring 12yrs & Under Group/Line/Large Line & one for the highest 13yrs & Over Group/Line/Large Line for Tier 3 & 4 (Studio must have a min of 10 entries in this division.)

TOP GROUP PERFORMANCE BY DISCIPLINE AWARDS: Awarded after the Danceworks/CADF Showdown Challenge Finals. Banner & Monetary Award

DANCEWORKS/CADF STUDIO SPIRIT AWARD:  Chosen by the Danceworks/CADF Staff, this award is given to the studio who has demonstrated not only the most spirit throughout the weekend but the kindness and respect to their dance peers.

  • All Overall Awards, Top Studio Awards and Showdown Group Challenge will receive Trophy or Plaque or Banner or both a Trophy and Banner and a Monetary Award. Monetary Awards will be sent to the studio
  • Danceworks/CADF reserves the right to combine or add awards within each Tier Division as dependent on entries.
  • Danceworks/CADF reserves the right to add additional routines to the Showdown Group Challenge.
  • Danceworks/CADF reserves the right to combine or divide any categories necessary; Dependent on entries.
